About the Project

In November, Rancho Water will be replacing a recycled water pipeline on Temecula Parkway in 4 phases, moving from west to east. During construction, westbound Temecula Parkway will be reduced down to one lane. All eastbound traffic will be uninterrupted. While access to neighborhoods and businesses will be maintained at all times, traffic delays are expected westbound on Temecula Parkway. There will be, at minimum, one lane open for traffic at all times and alternate routes will be available during the last 3 phases. Water will not be interrupted anytime during the construction process. Construction is set to last from November 2020 to May 2021.

This pipeline has a critical role. It delivers recycled water for irrigation and landscaping to the community’s parks, and businesses along Temecula Parkway.  When District customers use recycled water, it helps to free up more drinking water for cooking, showering or cleaning.  This pipeline alone helps to free up enough drinking water for approximately 16,000 people per year.

Rancho Water understands that construction is inconvenient.  We are committed to finishing the project as quickly and safely as possible and will keep you informed along the way.                        map showing the Pipeline Replacement project on Temecula Parkway
