The Engineering and Operations Committee is a standing policy committee of the board of directors. It was established to advise the board concerning the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of the necessary works for the production, storage, transmission, and distribution of water for irrigation, domestic, industrial, and municipal purposes. This includes any drainage or reclamation works connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Engineering and Operations Committee shall review the status of District construction, developer projects, and statistical information relevant to District operations on a monthly basis. They shall also review the capital improvement programs of the District, environmental documents and programs, and the master plans of the District, while conferring with staff during the preparation thereof.
